From CoinRobot v1 to v2

CoinRobot v2 keeps the core idea of automated strategy-driven trading but gives the user much more control over capital allocation, strategy choice and how many Plans run at the same time.

Two strategy modes

CoinRobot v2 supports two Plan types: BUY/SELL and CONVERT. In v1, capital was split by the built-in model: approximately one third BUY/SELL and two thirds CONVERT. In v2 this ratio is no longer hard-coded. You may run one or many Plans and decide how much capital each receives.

BUY/SELL opens and closes positions against the Plan's fiat/stablecoin side. CONVERT is the rotation model: it moves capital from one selected asset to another with the objective of increasing the quantity represented by the Plan's tracked conversion limit.

How to get the closest behaviour to v1

Choose a CONVERT strategy. For example, CONVERT – Relative Momentum Rotation can be used as the recommended/default strategy through its invite link. Disable StopLoss, or choose a strategy whose StopLoss activates only on a genuinely serious decline. This keeps the Plan primarily focused on rotation and quantity growth.

If you select assets you are comfortable holding through price fluctuations, quantity growth can later be reflected in capital value when those assets recover or rise. This is not a guarantee of profit: market value can fall even while the quantity-based CONVERT metric improves.

It can be useful to enable the AI-optimized version when available. CoinRobot can then periodically fine-tune the selected strategy formulas.

What CONVERT does in practice

A CONVERT Plan tracks the currently active asset and the other selected candidates. Strategy logic decides when the current position should be left and which candidate is the next target. The engine sells/converts the current asset, buys the selected target and records the amount/limit state used to evaluate whether the rotation improved the tracked quantity. StopLoss remains a separate safety path and can move the Plan back to cash depending on configuration.

The key v2 change is that this behaviour is no longer tied to one hard-coded strategy. The user selects the strategy, symbols, StopLoss behaviour and whether AI optimization is allowed.

Profit and CONVERT limit increase are different measurements

v2 shows profit relative to the Plan's capital value. If the market falls, Profit can therefore be negative even when the Plan has increased asset quantity through rotations. For CONVERT Plans, the separate CONVERT limit increase indicator keeps the quantity-oriented result visible independently of market-price movement.

No separate TakeProfit or ReInvest mode

v2 does not reproduce v1's separate TakeProfit and ReInvest controls. Multiple Plans can run independently and may be stopped at any time, so deciding when to stop a Plan and realize the current position is left to the user.

v1-like setup in v2

  1. Create a CONVERT Plan.
  2. Choose trusted assets and a CONVERT strategy such as Relative Momentum Rotation.
  3. Disable StopLoss or reserve it for major declines.
  4. Enable AI optimization if you want periodic formula fine-tuning.
  5. Use Profit for capital value and CONVERT limit increase for quantity-oriented progress.
